
Caroline Douglas
Caroline Douglas, a BFA graduate in ceramics from the University of North Carolina,
has taught many figurative sculpture workshops around the world and online. She has worked with clay for 50 years.
Drawing inspiration from dreams, mythology, and fairy tales, her artistic journey is deeply rooted in her personal healing experience following a traumatic brain injury, where the process of working with clay helped her heal herself. Her main teaching is to just Show Up with the materials and be curious. She loves to share how 'Creativity Heals’.
She encourages her students to embrace playfulness, where flow and creativity intersect. Her work has been featured in ‘Ceramics: Art and Perception', Lark Books, ’The Shambhala Sun’, Better Homes and Gardens', and the 'National Museum for Women in the Arts.’
