Description:

Want more expressive art?  Want more confidence in yourself and about your art?  Want to have a transformative experience with like-minded people?

This class will take you beyond any worn out or predictable painting methods. We will experiment with innovative techniques and a mindset of relaxed awareness which have been designed to cultivate your curiosity and self-confidence.

Inspiring demos, time to paint and group critiques, all reinforce helpful design and mindset objectives. Daily critiques will model how to discuss paintings with non-judgmental language that actually educates you to “see” more, and to appreciate whatever shows up, so that you and your art will flourish!

“Draw, scrape, roll, drag, spray, stamp, lift, write, drip, your way to fascinating non-objective or abstracted representational subjects. Within the random marks and shapes there is a story unfolding.”

Discussions address confidence, procrastination, vulnerability, curiosity, courage, inspiration, intuition, metaphor, symbolic elements, competition, belief systems, and more! I’ll help you dismiss that “mean ole inner critic” for greater productivity and authenticity.

All levels of experience are encouraged to attend.
