Techniques:
The mixed media techniques you will learn include Tyvek preparation, metal embellishments, plaster of Paris stones, textured paper accents, and more.
Student Supply List
Your favorite acrylic paints (Carol prefers Golden fluid acrylics)
Gel medium
Stencils (optional)
Any collage ephemera you happen to have (optional)
The usual stuff:
short-handled nylon brushes (3/4” flat, small detail brush)
scissors
32 oz. water container
spray water bottle
palette
1” palette knife
paper towels
spray alcohol bottle (optional).
Kit Fee:
$20 (to be paid to the instructor by cash or check at time of class)
Includes use of materials listed below provided by instructor.
Supplies Provided by Instructor:
Tyvek, spackle paste, stucco patch, metal tape, red rosin paper, 36” or 27” MDF trim board, smaller trim boards for mounting, D rings and screws for hanging, wood glue, plaster of Paris, and more.
